Speaker Biography
Stephen Jaye is a speaker, facilitator, and founder of Reclaim Your Time, a program that helps people build better tech habits so they can focus, create, and feel human again. Instead of shame or “quit your phone” advice, Stephen teaches a framework that creates measurable gains in time, energy, and mental health.
With a background as a meteorologist, product manager, and podcast host, Stephen blends data discipline with product-thinking to help people design environments where the right choices are the easy ones. Born in New York, shaped by the Midwest, and rooted in Denver since 2012, he’s passionate about community, nature, and getting people back the time to do what matters most.

Less Screen Time: Save Up to 20 Hours Per Week Through Better Tech Habits
Modern technology has made work both easier and more difficult. Notifications, tabs, and context switching drain focus and energy. Additionally, many newer tools were designed to be addictive, doing damage to both worker productivity and wellbeing. In this practical, fast-moving session, Stephen Jaye shares a 6-step method to reduce low-value screen time and reclaim that time for more valuable pursuits. Attendees will identify their biggest time drains, map triggers that hijack attention, and install small-but-mighty habit swaps that stick. Expect short exercises, audience participation, and actual life changing takeaways that will improve our relationship with technology. The goal isn’t a digital detox; it’s designing a workday and other life habits that protect deep work, supports mental health, and gives people their time back.
A 21st Century Work Culture That Creates Happy Employees and More Profitable Business
According to the Gallup Employee Engagement Survey, only 31% of employees in America are engaged at work. The inability to inspire workers can be quite costly. Luckily, a lot of research has been published around what motivates employees. Cultural changes to align an organization to create a better employee experience have been shown to be a win-win. Businesses that create a better employee experience are also more profitable as inspired employees provide more value to the business.
